Join our team at Lincolnwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a part-time Laundry Aide. This role supports our mission to provide a clean and welcoming environment for residents.

At $16-17/hour, you'll collect, wash, dry, and return laundry while ensuring high standards of cleanliness. The position includes benefits like tuition reimbursement and health coverage, with a focus on teamwork and respect for residents' dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience as a Laundry Aide or in a housekeeping role preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner.
• Wash, dry, and properly care for resident clothing and facility linens according to established procedures.
• Fold, sort, and return clean laundry to residents, ensuring items are delivered accurately and neatly.
• Maintain organized laundry areas and ensure equipment is used safely and properly.
• Assist with non-clinical support tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Report any issues with damaged or missing items to the appropriate staff.
