Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry Aide to support our residents and team in NC. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ laundry, while maintaining a clean and sanitary laundry area and observing infection control procedures.

The role emphasizes timely turnover of laundered items and respectful, compassionate service to residents, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within our healthcare facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of trash and relieve laundry staff as needed.
• Interact appropriately with residents, clients, other personnel, supervisors, and the public.
• Respond to customer preferences, comply with industry and federal and state guidelines, and meet the needs of residents.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Wash, dry, fold, and hang laundry, label Residents' clothing, and return Residents' laundry within 8 to 24 hours.
• Daily cleaning the laundry department, sanitizing the washers and dryers, emptying the trash, sweep, and mop.

Responsibilities include:

• Remove and dispose of trash and relieve laundry staff as needed.

• Daily cleaning the laundry department, sanitizing the washers and dryers, emptying the trash, sweep, and mop.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required- experience in healthcare settings is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
