Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, ensuring quality laundry services for residents and maintaining a clean, safe facility.

Shift is 2pm-10pm. Duties include sorting, washing, drying, folding or hanging laundry and distributing it per procedures and infection control standards, while keeping work areas clean and free of hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or its equivalent.
• Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, to assure that quality laundry services are provided, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents of the facility, and to assure the facility laundry is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
