Job summary

Western Slope Health Center in Mundelein, IL is seeking a Full-Time Laundry Attendant to maintain linens, operate industrial washers/dryers, and deliver clean laundry to resident rooms while upholding sanitary standards.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. A high school diploma or GED is required, with reliable attendance and the ability to work well in a team. One year of related experience is preferred; no certifications are required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial washers, dryers, and related equipment safely.
  • Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Report equipment problems or maintenance concerns to the Administrator.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You\'ll Do

What We\'re Looking For

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing, walking, sitting, talking, reading, and hearing. The employee will frequently operate industrial washers, dryers, and related laundry/housekeeping equipment.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The work environment is generally low to moderate in noise level and includes regular use of commercial laundry equipment and supplies.
