Job summary

Western Slope Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking Laundry Aide to join our team. This part-time role supports resident comfort by cleaning clothing, linens, and maintaining a home-like environment.

Responsibilities include collecting resident laundry, sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling items, and delivering clean laundry to resident rooms while following infection control and safety procedures. Prior laundry/healthcare experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
• Commitment to providing excellent service to residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Deliver clean laundry promptly to resident rooms.
• Inspect linens and clothing for stains, tears, and damage.
• Remove worn or damaged linens from service.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry area.
