Job summary

Journey is seeking an on-site Environmental Services team member to perform cleaning and sanitization across resident rooms and common areas. You will operate cleaning equipment, manage supplies, and ensure infection control while respecting residents' privacy.

Experience in long-term care is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required. Journey offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and PTO as part of the Journey Advantage.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Equipment and Supplies Management: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and effectively; prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Resident-Focused Support: Practice sensitivity to residents’ privacy and individual needs while adhering to infection control policies and completing all required documentation accurately.
