Job summary

Regency Care of Rogue Valley is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to support our skilled nursing community in Grants Pass, OR. You will assist in laundering resident clothing and facility linens and interact with residents with care and respect.

This weekend-friendly role requires excellent customer service, English proficiency, and a compassionate attitude toward seniors. A home-like environment and dignity for residents are core commitments of our team.

Responsibilities

• Fold and distribute clean linens.
• Clean dryer lint screens.
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear.
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly.
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

Part-Time / Weekend

As a Laundry Aide, you will assist in all aspects of laundering resident clothing and facility linens.

You Will

• Fold and distribute clean linens.
• Clean dryer lint screens
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.

You Currently

• Have excellent customer service skills.

• Can work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
