Job summary

Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to ensure clean resident clothing and linens. The role includes washing, drying, and folding, with a focus on safety and confidentiality.

The position is full-time with shifts from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, or 6am-6pm and includes every other weekend. We offer competitive hourly wages, health and dental insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

LAUNDRY AIDE

Job Summary:

Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Christiana, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents. This is a full-time position with a schedule, including every other weekend. • 6am-2pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding resident clothes and linens
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
• Handle resident personal belongings with care and respect, adhering to confidentiality guidelines
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning rooms and common areas

Requirements:

• Experience working in a healthcare setting or with seniors preferred, but willing to train
