Job summary

Hillside ML in Gatesville, TX is seeking a dedicated laundry associate to support our facility's linen and clothing needs. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens for residents and staff, while ensuring items are labeled and returned to the correct rooms.

Responsibilities emphasize safe operation of commercial laundry equipment, adherence to infection-control procedures, and meticulous attention to cleanliness and confidentiality of residents' belongings.

Qualifications

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely.
• Measure and use detergents and cleaning products properly.
• Label and return residents’ personal clothing to correct rooms.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility sanitation procedures.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or missing items.
• Report damaged equipment, lost items, or laundry concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with maintaining adequate linen supplies throughout the facility.
• Handle resident belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality.
