Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry Aide for the evening shift at our Elizabethtown, PA location. The role involves cleaning, sorting, washing, drying, and folding textiles to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cleaning or dry cleaning experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds unaided.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold clothing and other textiles.
• Remove stains using appropriate procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry detergents and supplies.
• Track maintenance/repairs on laundering equipment.
• Ensure facility remains clean at all times.

Responsibilities of a Laundry Aide

• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergent stocks.
• Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
• Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.

Qualifications of a Laundry Aide

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in cleaning or dry cleaning is also an asset.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided.
