Marklund in Elgin is hiring a Full-Time Laundry Aide at the Wasmond Center in Elgin, IL. The position offers $15.25 per hour with a 6a-2p schedule, 5 days a week, and rotating weekends. This is an entry level role with training provided to perform the essential laundry functions in a supportive environment.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position foraLaundry Aide. This is a full-time position atMarklund’sWasmond Center in Elgin, IL. The hourly rate for thisposition is $15.25/hour with a schedule of 6a-2p. 5-days a weekandrotating weekends with 8-hour shifts.

Candidates mustbe able to perform the essential functions of the joband to meet its functional and environmental requirements.

Who We Are:

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.
