Job summary

Seacrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Laundry Aide for a part-time position. The role includes Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend shifts, with a starting wage of $15.92 per hour.

The facility emphasizes clean linens, resident comfort, and a welcoming environment. The Laundry Aide will collect and launder resident items, maintain orderly laundry spaces, follow safety and infection control guidelines, and support general facility operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience as Laundry Aide or in a housekeeping role preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner.
• Wash, dry, and properly care for resident clothing and facility linens according to established procedures.
• Fold, sort, and return clean laundry to residents, ensuring items are delivered accurately and neatly.
• Maintain organized laundry areas and ensure equipment is used safely and properly.
• Assist with non-clinical support tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Report any issues with damaged or missing items to the appropriate staff.
