Job summary

Bloomfield Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support our residents by managing linens, clothing, and other items with care and efficiency.

You will operate washers and dryers, maintain stock, and follow infection control protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This entry-level role offers training and growth opportunities within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other items according to established procedures and schedules
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and folding machines
  • Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Laundry Aide

What You'll Do:

As a Laundry Aide, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the laundry operations, ensuring that linens, clothing, and other items are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of our residents. Key Responsibilities of a Laundry Aide:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other items according to established procedures and schedules

Rate of Pay

Starting from USD $19.62/Hr.
