Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to support our newly transformed facility at 201 Franklin Farm Ln, Chambersburg, PA 17202. This 10a–6p shift offers a stable, team-oriented environment and a chance to contribute to resident comfort.

You will assist with cleaning, stocking supplies, sanitation, and following written and oral instructions to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas, must perform regular inspections of resident rooms or units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing housekeeping practices.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Requirements of the Laundry Aide:

• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
