Job summary

Cameron Nursing Center is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to support residents by providing clean linens and clothing daily. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hands-on work in a caring healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience, be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Primary duties include safe handling and sanitation of laundry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform all laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry areas
• Collect soiled linens from each wing during the shift
• Sort and prepare laundry for washing (check pockets, unbutton items, etc.)
• Inventory, label, and track resident clothing and personal items
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed
• Follow safety, infection control, and facility policies
• Complete other duties as assigned

Job Summary
