Job summary

Haralson Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Laundry Aide to support the facility's linen services. The role involves collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clothing to residents, with an emphasis on cleanliness and safety.

The candidate will communicate effectively with staff, attend mandatory trainings, and operate within a well-supervised environment. Weekend hours are required, and occasional meetings may be scheduled to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, facility, administration, and Lucent management.
• Willingness to attend mandatory in-service training as required by the director of laundry operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect and sort soiled linen.
• Load and unload washing machines and dryers.
• Fold and hang personal clothing items.
• Store and deliver residents' clothing to designated residents.
• Communicate clearly with staff and administration.
• Notify director of laundry operations when supplies run low.
• Perform daily inspections of the laundry facility and report damaged equipment.
• Keep laundry areas clean and sanitized.
• Attend employee meetings and mandatory in-service training.
• Work with minimal supervision on a daily basis.

Haralson Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for excellent and hardworking Laundry Aides!

Available Hours: 2pm-10pm with weekend requirements

Responsibilities:

• Collecting soiled linen
• sorting soiled linen
• loading and unloading washing machines
• loading and unloading dryers
• folding and hanging personal clothing items
• storing and delivering personal clothing to designated residents
• the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, facility, administration, and Lucent management
• notify director of laundry operations when supplies and materials run low
• perform daily inspections of the laundry facility and report any damage or defective equipment
• keep the facility's laundry areas clean and sanitized
• attend employee meetings and mandatory in-service training as required by the director of laundry operations
• perform duties and responsibilities to the standard set by the indicidual facility and Lucent upper management
• Work with minimal supervision on a daily basis
