Job summary

Social Circle Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking Laundry Aides to support our resident-focused care team. This role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can manage linen workflow and deliver clothing to residents with care and urgency.

Available hours are 6am-2pm with weekend requirements. Part-time and full-time positions are offered to fit staffing needs and applicant flexibility, with opportunities to contribute to a clean, well-organized facility.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication with coworkers, facility staff, and management.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy laundry environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linen.
• Sort soiled linen.
• Load and unload washing machines.
• Load and unload dryers.
• Fold and hang personal clothing items.
• Deliver clothing to designated residents.
• Notify laundry director when supplies run low.
• Inspect laundry facility daily and report equipment issues.
• Keep laundry areas clean and sanitized.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
• Perform duties per facility standards and upper management directions.
• Work with minimal supervision daily.

Social Circle Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for excellent and hardworking Laundry Aides!

Available Hours: 6am-2pm with weekend requirements. Part time and Full time available.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting soiled linen

• sorting soiled linen

• loading and unloading washing machines

• loading and unloading dryers

• folding and hanging personal clothing items

• storing and delivering personal clothing to designated residents

• the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, facility, administration, and Lucent management

• notify director of laundry operations when supplies and materials run low

• perform daily inspections of the laundry facility and report any damage or defective equipment

• keep the facility's laundry areas clean and sanitized

• attend employee meetings and mandatory in-service training as required by the director of laundry operations

• perform duties and responsibilities to the standard set by the individual facility and Lucent upper management

• Work with minimal supervision on a daily basis
