Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Laundry Aide to carry out daily Laundry Department tasks, ensuring quality laundry services for residents and maintaining a clean, sanitary facility. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, or hang linen and garments, distribute items per procedures, and follow infection control standards.

You will also ensure work areas stay clean, safe, and properly organized while supporting a safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang laundry and distribute items per procedures and infection control standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and hazard-free work areas in the Laundry Department.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, to assure that quality laundry services are provided, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents of the facility, and to assure the facility laundry is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.


• Assure that work/assignment areas are maintained, clean, and free of hazardous conditions.
