Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required; 1 year of housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean linen for residents and maintain linen in good repair.
• Collect laundry from residents daily and label items as needed.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens; deliver items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures for laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and operate laundry equipment safely.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor and keep workspace clean and organized.
