Laundry Capital Co. LLC in Indianapolis, IN seeks a General Manager to lead store operations, drive customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will recruit, train and manage staff, monitor payroll, and ensure policy compliance while delivering outstanding service to customers. Responsibilities include scheduling within budget, supervising daily operations, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety standards, and promoting a high-energy, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience in retail sales.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience leading a team.
• Must be willing to submit to drug and alcohol screenings when requested.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
• Must communicate with customers and associates professionally.
• Ability to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Ability to train store associates in assigned tasks.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and growth.
• Participate in screening and selection for staffing needs.
• Ensure training procedures and evaluations are followed; develop top talent.
• Foster a safe, positive, fair work environment and enforce company policies.
• Develop staff schedules within budgeted payroll hours; ensure payroll accuracy.
• Maintain tools/logs for equipment and store operations; ensure maintenance issues are reported.
• Ensure store cleanliness and availability of carts, tables and televisions.
• Manage emergencies and safety practices; respond to incidents as needed.
• Train employees in processing retail sales and upselling customers.
• Support promotional programs and accurately collect and report data.
