Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager for Laundry at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, New York. This second shift position may include weekends and holidays as needed. You will lead a team of 7-10, directing laundry operations and ensuring safety and compliance.

You’ll oversee daily workflows, drive efficiency, manage budgets, and ensure quality standards. The role emphasizes supervision, performance evaluations, and staff development within a healthcare setting.

Sodexo is seeking aOperations Managerfor Laundryin Jamaica, New York for Queens Hospital. Thisis a Second Shiftposition, however there could be some various other shifts as business needs dictate that could include some weekends and holidays.

*Typical Schedule Monday-Friday*. Flexible with an12 Noon start time.Our Sodexo Healthcare teams work to direct Laundry operations at client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. This Linen Manager will manage a team of 7-10.

Take charge of essential operations within laundry, engineering, or transportation services, ensuring smooth daily workflows and compliance across the board. You’ll lead, develop, and support teams while fostering a safe and efficient work environment that meets regulatory standards and drives cost-effective results.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $77605 - $100430
