Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking an Account Manager Trainee to learn the workflows and best practices of the insurance customer service side. In training, you will route policy documents and client notices, and gain working knowledge of carrier websites.

You will follow up with carriers for pending changes, review renewals, obtain loss history, and issue certificates while undergoing professional development trainings.

Qualifications

• College degree or some education/work experience mix preferred.
• Analytical problem-solving capabilities with energy to complete computer tasks.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail with ability to follow procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and staying on-task with discipline.
• Intermediate computer skills including Word, Outlook & Excel.
• Currently hold, or be able to obtain with 90 days, Florida 4-40 and/or 2-20 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Learn workflows and best practices on the customer service side of insurance.
• Route policy documents and client notices during training.
• Develop knowledge of insurance carrier websites for required information.
• Follow up with carriers for pending policy changes and cancellations.
• Review renewal policies and endorsements for quality assurance.
• Learn how to obtain loss history and issue insurance certificates.
• Participate in professional development trainings.
