Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) invites applicants to join our Account Manager Trainee program in Tallahassee, FL. You will learn the workflows and best practices of the customer service side of the insurance industry, routing documents, examining policy changes, and issuing certificates.

Throughout training you will build carrier navigation skills, review renewals, and participate in professional development trainings to accelerate your career in risk management and client service.

Qualifications

• College degree or combination of education and comparable work experience preferred.
• Analytical problem-solving capabilities with energy to complete computer-based tasks.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail; follow procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; stay on task.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel is a plus; Florida 4-40 or 2-20 license desirable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Learn routing of policy documents and client notices.
• Develop working knowledge of insurance carrier websites and navigation for information.
• Follow up with carriers for pending policy changes and cancellations; review renewals and endorsements for QA.
• Learn how to obtain loss history and how to issue insurance certificates.
• Participate in professional development trainings during the trainee program.
