Job summary

Siemens is seeking rising and recent engineering graduates for its Automation Genesis program – Discrete Engineering Track. The six-month onboarding is in Mason, OH, followed by placement at DI Automation hubs or customer regions including Alpharetta, GA.

Qualifications

• Eligible to start full-time employment on June 7, 2027.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in listed fields.
• Strong programming proficiency in IEC 61131-3, C#, Python, C/C++, Java.
• Foundational knowledge in automation technologies and networking.
• Excellent communication and willingness to relocate.
• Willing to relocate to Mason, OH first, then Alpharetta, GA or other hubs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in instructor-led training, workshops, and engineering projects to build understanding of Siemens DI Automation portfolio and how to implement automation solutions for customers.
• Provide technical consultation and support pre-sales activities, including scoping customer requirements and contributing to proofs-of-concept and demonstrations.
• Design, develop, test, and commission automation applications using factory automation, motion control, and industrial networking technologies.
• Master internal enablement tools and simulation platforms used by the team.
• Consult with Siemens customers to drive digital transformation through IIoT, additive manufacturing, digital drive train, and robotics innovations.
