Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Vehicle Integration and Test Technician II in Baltimore, MD to support the Neutron launch vehicle. You will lead hands-on assembly and test activities, work with system owners, and train technicians on industry standards.

You will collaborate with production teams in Auckland, Long Beach, and Stennis, and help develop procedures for integration and testing of aerospace flight components. Requires 2+ years in regulated manufacturing and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly and/or test experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in the creation and implementation of Neutron's assembly and test procedures.
• Work closely with system owners to develop and document procedures.
• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to technicians in assembly and test procedures.
• Lead and train technicians in industry standards and best practice for installation and testing of aerospace flight components.
• Troubleshoot and drive workflow improvements.
• Support other operations to enable rapid processing of Neutron.
• Help specify and set up technician workstations and tooling.
• Collaborate with production teams in Baltimore and international sites to develop integration procedures.
