Job summary
Firefly Aerospace in Briggs, TX is seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer II to support integration of launch vehicles through assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure seamless vehicle integration and functionality, contributing to flight operations.
The role requires a bachelor’s in aerospace/related field and 2+ years of experience in aerospace vehicle integration, with hands-on CAD, PLM and ERP tool usage, DFMA
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of aerospace vehicle integration or related engineering experience.
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Experience with system-level testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Support vehicle integration activities across structural, mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems.
- Develop and execute integration plans, procedures and timelines for assembly and testing.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure proper hardware integration.
- Provide hands-on support with technicians and engineers during integration.
- Document procedures, lessons learned, and process improvements.
