Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer for the OLS Test Operations team at Cape Canaveral. You will test, maintain, and troubleshoot ground support equipment and test facilities enabling orbital rockets and test campaigns.

You will work across design, quality, supply chain and production to ensure safety, reliability, and readiness for launches, with a focus on hydraulic, pneumatic, cryogenic and electrical systems. This role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and innovation.

Qualificações

• Hands-on, detail-oriented Launch & Test Engineer for OLS Test Operations.
• Experience with test facilities for launch vehicles and ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and hypergolic fluid systems.
• Ability to perform PHAs/HAZOPs and safety-focused analysis.
• Collaborates with design, quality, supply chain and production teams.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities to support orbital rockets, lunar spacecrafts, and launch vehicle systems.
• Generate and execute test procedures involving high-pressure gas, cryogenic and fluid systems.
• Work with technicians to perform work on test facilities and lead test operations.
• Review and interpret test data to assess facility health and performance.
• Size, select, troubleshoot, and maintain test, launch, and fluid system components and instrumentation.
• Perform PHAs and HAZOPs to identify safety incidents and operational issues.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust test and maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain and production teams.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to enhance reliability.
• Ensure all work aligns with AS9100 / ISO 9001 safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions.
