ARES Corporation in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Launch Site Integration Engineer to support the NASA Exploration Ground Systems program at KSC. Work includes development, integration, and requirements management of payload interfaces and services for SLS payload processing.

The role emphasizes leadership in technical integration, requirements management, and cross-program collaboration, with strong communications, planning, and presentation skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field and 2+ years related work experience.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with payload processing or spacecraft program planning is a plus.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical integration efforts and resolve conflicts across programs and agencies.
• Lead development and management of payload support plans for each payload on the SLS vehicle.
• Guide requirement changes for payload customer requirements and coordinate cross-program events.
• Support NASA customers, contract management, and stakeholders with technical forums and data products.
