Job summary

Adient in Plymouth, MI, seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to develop and launch manufacturing processes for new programs. You will conduct detailed engineering analyses, optimize layouts, and ensure smooth labor planning and material flow to achieve target outputs.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive interiors, strong PFMEA and CAD skills, and proven project management ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience – automotive interiors experience preferred.
• Experience with seating products desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes by detailed engineering analysis.
• Design for assembly.
• Logistics and contingency planning.
• Process flow.
• Process labor planning & line balance.
• Material flow and lineside presentation.
