Job summary

Ford is seeking a skilled dimensional engineering professional to lead control strategies and drive Six Sigma improvements across launch and production. You will analyze measurement data, guide corrective actions, and collaborate with Body Area Launch Leaders, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to ensure stable, high-quality manufacturing.

You’ll apply engineering principles, establish measurement requirements, and manage SPC activities while supporting continuous manufacturing improvements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Experience in dimensional engineering and manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead dimensional-control strategies to reduce variation using Six Sigma.
• Set and monitor quality targets for each build and communicate results.
• Identify critical characteristics and establish measurement methods and data needs.
• Develop corrective actions and verify them in internal processes and with suppliers.
• Support timely issue resolution with Quality, Production and other teams.
