Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a skilled engineer to lead tolerance analysis modeling and its integration into manufacturing. You will direct metrology lab activity and factory-floor control plans, driving GD&T improvements across Pp/PpK and supplier parts.

A BS in engineering or mathematics and 3+ years of dimensional control experience are required. Candidate will work with CAD, CMM, scanners and vision tools, supporting dimensional issue resolution and locating strategies for body and chassis

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or mathematics.
• 3+ years of dimensional control experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead tolerance analysis modeling and reporting.
• Lead technicians in the metrology lab and factory floor executing the control plan.
• Drive improvements in Pp/PpK from the tools and supplier parts.
• Provide GD&T support.
• Support appearance and functional dimensional issue resolution.
• Support related dimensional control elements (locators, checking fixtures, etc.) as needed.
