Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or ASQ CQE certification or equivalent.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience as Launch/Advanced/APQP Quality Engineer in automotive preferred.
• 1+ year interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Lead or support APQP/launch activities and documentation (PPAP).
• Audit APQP documents for assigned programs.
• Coordinate PPAP activities with regional PPAP coordinators as needed.
• Monitor data collection for process/product/customer feedback during launches.
• Support containment actions for nonconforming product during launches.
• Report weekly to management on timelines.
• Travel may be 25–50% domestically and internationally.
