Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and maintain the Starship test stand's fluid, electrical, and mechanical systems in preparation for test operations. You’ll fabricate components, troubleshoot control and hydraulic systems, and work with engineers to ensure readiness for a multimillion-dollar launch.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • NCCER Instrumentation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and install fluid system components from schematics or drawings.
  • Troubleshoot issues in controls, fluids, and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure system quality for launches.
  • Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, aerial platforms).
  • Perform hands-on work with various assemblies and systems.
  • Conduct maintenance across vehicle integration, pad maintenance, site maintenance, and facilities.
  • Create and edit work orders and instructions.
  • Perform lockout/tagout and fluid system configuration procedures safely.
  • Monitor instrumentation data to assess fluid system health and performance.
