Job summary

Relativity Space in Florida seeks a senior design engineer to design, fabricate, operate and maintain Terran R's launch pad facilities. You will lead fluid system design, run analyses, and own piping drawings and specs, collaborating across propulsion, manufacturing, software, and avionics teams.

Candidates should have 8+ years in full-cycle design engineering, with hands-on hardware build experience, strong communication, and a track record of solving complex problems under pressure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a full cycle design engineering role (analyze, build, test).
• Experience with piping and fluid systems design, read/interpret P&IDs and drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, operate, and maintain Terran R launch pad facilities.
• Design launch pad propellant/gas infrastructure, piping, and related diagrams and BOMs.
• Supervise construction activation and initial operations of launch facilities.
• Solve technically challenging problems across multiple disciplines under programmatic pressure.
