Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of welding experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW or FCAW (college program counts).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete welding assignments for construction and repair of site structural stands.
• Fabricate metal components to dimensions for building and assembling test forms.
• Analyze drawings and plans to plan welding operations with supervision.
• Weld components to assemble structural forms using hand welding and flame-cutting equipment.
• Visually inspect welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 with training.
