Job summary

SpaceX in Starbase, TX seeks a Civil Engineer for land development on the Starship Launch Pad. You will design, build, and activate a second orbital launch pad and related infrastructure, collaborating across disciplines to enable orbital launch capability.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ year civil experience, proficiency in CAD (Revit, AutoCAD/Civil3D), and the ability to obtain permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ year of civil engineering design and drafting experience.
• Experience with CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD/Civil3D).

Responsibilities

• Own site feasibility, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Perform grading, drainage, water quality calculations.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Manage civil aspects of construction with QA and coordination.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal clients on requirements, schedule, and cost.
• Resolve field design and construction conflicts in real time.
