Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking engineers to lead integrated test and launch operations across diverse launch sites. You will own the operations layer that ties ground and vehicle subsystems together, write procedures, and develop automation to support safe pad operations.

Applicants should have 2+ years in test or launch operations, on-console experience, and proficiency with Python or MATLAB for tooling and data analysis. Travel up to 25% will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in test/launch operations or similar high-consequence environments.
• On-console, real-time operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated test and launch operations across a global portfolio.
• Lead design reviews with multidisciplinary teams to drive ground-system upgrades.
• Commission ground systems and support on-console vehicle/ground operations.
• Troubleshoot issues, investigate non-conformances, and lead anomaly investigations.
• Develop automation sequences and operational software tools for test/launch execution.
• Write procedures for launch pad configuration and countdown operations.
