Job summary

DeepMind, located in Mountain View, CA, seeks a Technical Program Manager for Model Launches on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs, plan requirements with internal customers, and drive deliverables through the full project lifecycle.

You will manage serving readiness for Gemini and GenMedia models, coordinate readiness checklists, and provide executive updates to stakeholders across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in program management.
• Experience with AI/ML model launches, inference infrastructure, capacity planning.
• Ability to lead cross-time-zone distributed teams and governance.
• Experience leading launch programs and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end model launch lifecycle from intake to GA.
• Lead cross-team launches and coordinate readiness and risk management.
• Serve as liaison between model development, platform engineering, SRE, and product teams.
• Prepare executive updates and post-launch retrospectives.
• Drive serving readiness for Gemini and GenMedia models.
