Job summary

DeepMind Technologies Limited in San Francisco seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex AI programs spanning post-training data, evaluation and modeling efforts, coordinating researchers, engineers and product teams.

You will define scope, timelines and resources, balance risk with rapid progress, and communicate trade-offs to executives while driving Gemini release readiness and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and optimize post-training initiatives (SFT, RL, data, evaluations) with research and engineering teams.
• Manage end-to-end project planning and cross-functional dependencies across data pipelines, evaluation platforms, compute, and external partners.
• Track progress, maintain program documentation, and resolve blockers across data and model development workflows.
• Translate complex modeling progress into clear, decision-ready updates for leadership and cross-functional audiences.
• Apply lightweight program methodologies to improve velocity and predictability while understanding post-training, LLMs, and AGI research.
