Overview

VTG is looking for a Launch Integration Specialist in Los Angeles, CA.

What will you do?

The Launch Integration Specialist (LIS) provides mission management and integration support throughout all phases of satellite-to-launch vehicle integration for OSL missions. Responsibilities include mission planning, schedule development, range coordination, readiness reviews, technical procedures, anomaly resolution, and mission support.

Support Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain program plans, perform launch vehicle mission trade studies and analysis.
  • Develop mission-specific requirements and monitor interface requirements.
  • Coordinate with satellite and launch vehicle programs, contractors, and organizations.
  • Maintain knowledge of space launch policies, vehicle architecture, and components.
Tasks include:
  • Space vehicle to launch vehicle integration and launch expertise.
  • Manage launch mission processes and serve as the interface with stakeholders.
  • Generate reports, review products, and support mission documentation.
  • Interface with mission personnel from various agencies and contractors.
  • Provide modeling, simulation, and risk assessment support.
Qualifications:

Current TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required. Experience levels vary with education and years of experience:

  • 5 years experience = Associate's degree
  • 10 years experience = Bachelor's degree
  • 15 years experience = Master's degree
Level-II LIS:

Intermediate professional with proven knowledge of space launch systems. Must have G2 certification; T2 preferred. Requires extensive knowledge of government space launch policies, satellite and launch interface requirements, and experience leading mission integration.

Level-III LIS:

Senior-level professional with proven expertise in space launch systems, able to develop briefings, support strategic planning, and lead mission integration activities. Must have G3 certification; T3 preferred.

Compensation:

Estimated starting range: $150,000 - $210,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
