SAIC is seeking a Launch Integration Engineer to support national security space missions by integrating satellite programs with launch vehicle providers in Chantilly, VA. You will participate in mission planning, baseline integration, and readiness activities across government and industry partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics with 3+ years of experience, plus an active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain). Travel is limited and on-site work is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain poly.
• Experience with government satellite programs and launch operations.

Responsabilités

• Support space vehicle launch integration from concept to Day of Launch.
• Identify mission requirements and develop mission baselines.
• Support readiness reviews, rehearsals, and coordination meetings.
• Maintain integration documentation (interfaces, facilities, comms, plans).
• Track and verify technical requirements across providers and stakeholders.
• Evaluate launch data including trajectories and hardware.
• Support mission assignment and launch vehicle selection analyses.
• Monitor industry trends and new entrant capabilities.
