SAIC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to support space programs. You will guide concept development, verification, and deployment of a critical space system within a fast-paced government environment.

Responsibilities include CONOPS development, interface oversight, ICD development, and mission trajectory design, with frequent stakeholder collaboration and formal reviews as milestones are reached.

Competenze

• Experience with space systems, including development of CONOPS and mission threads.
• Ability to conduct trade studies, define interfaces, and mature requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills in government/contractor teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience with satellite systems design, development, integration and test.
• Knowledge of DoD/IC satellite program office best practices.

Mansioni

• Assist Government in developing CONOPS and mission interfaces; perform trade studies.
• Support system development from requirements verification to design and test.
• Translate customer needs into engineering requirements and lead reviews.
• Develop ICDs; define electrical, electronic, and mechanical boundaries for satellites.
• Design mission trajectories, plan operations, and run simulations.
• Participate in system trades for enhanced capabilities and risk assessment.
• Support verification, validation, and test planning and documentation.
