Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Global Propulsion Systems Manufacturing Engineering Launch Excellence Engineer to drive launch performance from initial launch through post-SORP stabilization. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop data-driven dashboards, and implement AI-enabled insights to improve throughput, quality, and cycle-time across multiple sites.

The role is onsite with travel and requires collaboration with ME, MO, OEM partners, and virtual manufacturing teams to deliver 100%

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing launch performance from launch through SORP stabilization.
Develop dashboards to visualize downtime, throughput, quality, scrap, FTQ, and virtual manufacturing issues.
Lead cross-functional teams with ME, MO, and OEM partners to resolve top launch issues.
Establish daily/weekly reviews to track MCBF, SAGT, and glide-path milestones.
Create or update standardized work and train teams on TIP processes.
Develop AI-enabled systems for data collection, analysis, and actionable insights.
