iRocket is seeking a Launch Engineer to oversee end-to-end launch operations, integration, vehicle readiness, and mission execution across sites. The role involves supporting vehicle assembly, test, rollout, countdown, and flight operations, plus coordinating with propulsion, avionics, structures, safety, and logistics teams to ensure readiness.

You will monitor launch-site infrastructure, support logistics, GSE, and range coordination, and review post-flight data to derive metrics for cadence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years in launch operations, systems integration, or mission-execution; space/defense preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; thrive in high-stakes environments.
• Willingness to travel and work variable hours during campaigns; startup pace experience valued.

• Develop check-lists, execute vehicle/pad/environment checkouts, manage anomaly response during launch campaigns
• Coordinate with propulsion, avionics, structures, safety, and logistics teams to ensure mission readiness
• Monitor launch-site infrastructure, support logistics, GSE, and range coordination
• Review data post-flight, identify metrics for cadence improvement, and feed lessons into future campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of launch operations, systems integration, or mission-execution experience (space or defense sector preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable in high-stakes environments
• Availability for travel and variable hours during campaigns; dynamic startup-pace experience preferred
