Job summary

General Motors in the United States is seeking a Launch Electrical Process Coordinator to serve as a key technical resource during vehicle launches, ensuring electrical standards and BoO requirements are implemented. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to deploy, validate, and continuously improve electrical processes and tester systems.

The role supports launches and production readiness, traveling up to 25% and reporting to GM facilities and supplier locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• At least one (1) year of experience with automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, or related subsystems.
• Previous leadership experience as a Group Leader, Team Leader, or similar supervisory role.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including 1st or 2nd shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while supporting quality and safety.
• Strong written and oral communication to translate technical issues to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a cross-functional Electrical Team to identify and resolve vehicle quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with BoO requirements and specifications across GM facilities and supplier locations.
• Lead investigation and corrective actions for electrical process and tester issues to meet quality objectives.
• Complete required training and travel to support launches and business needs.
• Participate in vehicle launch activities and validation events to support electrical processes.
