Job summary

Aurex is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA region to provide O&M, site operations, installation support, and launch-related system engineering. You will coordinate with Quintron and Aurex teams, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot communications systems to ensure mission readiness.

The role requires extensive electronics knowledge, hands-on testing, and the ability to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of space launch related technical support experience.
• Advanced electronics and system integration knowledge for launch communications.【rephrase】

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member coordinating with Quintron and SAS Company personnel.
• Engineer and implement customer-requested installation or updates to be completed by Quintron and Aurex workforce.
• Coordinate daily site work activities with customer scheduling, engineering and safety personnel.
• Construct, install, modify, refurbish, and perform preventive maintenance on voice, video, telephone, CCTV, CATV, timing, data, and missile launch systems.
• Inspect and test operability of communications equipment prior to major operations and launch.
• Configure communication systems to support pre-launch and launch activities.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber and copper cabling and hardware.
