Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer seeking a crane operator to place members precisely under direct supervision at job sites across the southeastern U.S.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety and quality standards, routine crane maintenance, and coordinated teamwork with the crew. A high school diploma or GED and crane licenses are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Licenses by GC or Tindall to operate crane.

Responsibilities

• Operates crane with high degree of concentration, placing members in exact locations while receiving directions.
• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.
• Works in conjunction with crew in the assembly and disassembly of the crane at the job site.
• Performs routine maintenance on crane, such as aligning cable, check oil and fuel, wash viewing windows, etc.
• Lifts member off trailer and positions members in exact locations using a high degree of concentration while receiving constant directions from the lead person and rigger.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions:

Operates crane with high degree of concentration, placing members in exact locations while receiving directions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.
• Works in conjunction with crew in the assembly and disassembly of the crane at the job site.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

• Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Licenses by GC or Tindall to operate crane.
• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
