Essential Responsibility:
- Maintain excellent communication with the Manufacturing Supervisors and Manager.
- Teach and train all Team Leaders on proper change-over methods.
- Perform all change-over at Continuous Lines, Grinding Lines and Accessory Lines.
- Daily follow-up of machine Targets and product Quality – understanding the deep reasons for under-achievement, work to identify and improve deficiencies.
- High focus on Quality of our Safety related Brake Products
- Lead person for grinding wheel re-coat control system.
- Powder Coating PM and maintenance activities. (Ground wires, Spray heads, all hoses and fittings to remove sticking powder. Entire powder coating system )
- Control inventory of all Powder coating spare parts.
- Foreseeing potential problems before they happen at Continuous Lines.
- Understand the production goals and achieving them.
- Ability to trouble shoot all equipment in the Latter Process.
- Control inventory levels for all spare parts at the accessory lines.
- Providing training to all line operators.
- Ability to trouble shoot all types of printers and perform maintenance on the printers.
- Performs all other duties as requested or assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and Manager.
List of Key Tasks / Primary Responsibilities:
1) Change-over and Set-up of Grinding Lines:
Ability to perform change over and set-up of all Grinding machines based on the daily production schedule as directed by the Mfg. Supervisor or Manager, then perform 1st piece checks; by performing preventative maintenance at Powder Coating and Scorching. Have trouble shooting skills for Continuous lines, Grinding lines, Accessory lines and also printers.
2) Change-over and Set-up of all Accessory Lines:
- A. Ability to perform change-over and set-up of all Accessory Lines based on the daily production schedule as directed by Manufacturing Supervisor on Manager, then perform 1st piece checks.
- B. Develop system for Accessory line change over and jig allocation.
3) Grinding wheel management:
- A. Control grinding wheel management system. Maintain grinding wheel allocation.
- B. Prepare grinding wheels to be sent out for re-coating, complete necessary paperwork and also communicate with the grinding wheel suppliers.
4) Powder Coating and Accessory Line Spare Parts Inventory:
- A. Control all Powder Coating spare parts inventory levels.
- B. Control all Accessory Line spare parts inventory levels.
5) Maintain Safety and Quality
- A. By wearing the proper PPE; and supporting the Company’s policies, procedures and attendance.
- B. Identify report and or repair unsafe condition on the equipment within the Latter Process.
- C. Ensure 1st piece checks are performed correctly.
- D. Follow up on operators 3S check system.
- E. Verify that operator’s visual inspection method is correct.
- F. Improve 5S in all areas within the Latter Process.
- 6) Alpha Jet Printer setting, maintenance and trouble shooting
- 7) Assist in corrective action investigation and implementation of countermeasures
- 8) Initiate and participate in Kaizen activities
- 9) Complete accessory line changeovers - including auto accessory lines
- 10) Setup / adjust camera and barcode readers
QualificationsEducation / Certifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years' experience in a manufacturing and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time and Tool Management.
- Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.
- Performs Other Duties as assigned by manager, supervisor or other management team member.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk, in office or field duties;

Experience / Qualification:
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms and instructions in English.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English and to analyze reports such as production reports
- Ability to effectively respond to questions in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
