The Relationship Manager will partner closely with Business Development Managers on shared accounts and collaborate with investment teams, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other functional partners to support retention, business development priorities, and high-quality client outcomes. Success in this role requires the ability to operate independently, lead senior-level investment dialogue, manage multiple complex relationships, and coordinate effectively across a global investment organization.

  • Serve as a central point of contact internally and externally across institutional relationships, distribution partners, platforms, and other regional stakeholders.
  • Lead senior-level investment dialogue and respond to client inquiries across fixed income, equity, multi-asset, and asset allocation portfolios.
  • Build trusted relationships and represent client priorities across the firm.
Retention and Business Development Partnership
  • Partner closely with Business Development Managers on shared accounts.
  • Provide strategic support on client retention, defense strategies, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Drive follow-through on active business development priorities and agreed client commitments.
  • Identify relationship risks, evolving client priorities, regional market trends, and opportunities for broader engagement and business development.
  • Balance client objectives, commercial priorities, and applicable firm requirements.
Client Servicing and Operational Coordination
  • Coordinate complex operational requirements, including distribution agreement mapping and setup, due diligence support and escalation, trade issues, payment inquiries and cycles, fund servicing, and platform-related inquiries.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts across the firm to onboard new accounts, process cash flows, and address client issues and opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and firm requirements.
  • Manage training, knowledge sharing, and other servicing commitments and contractual obligations for strategic clients across the region.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and maintain accountability for client deliverables and timely issue resolution.
Process Improvement and Team Contribution
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve regional servicing workflows.
  • Support internal initiatives that translate recommendations into practical process improvements.
  • Share regional knowledge and insights that strengthen account coverage and team effectiveness.
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture of collaboration and excellence and serve as a role model to the broader team.
Other Qualifications
  • Experienced relationship management professional with broad investment knowledge, a strong understanding of institutional client needs, and the ability to represent fixed income, equity, multi-asset, and asset allocation portfolios to clients.
  • Executive presence, strong written communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage external audiences with credibility.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support client coverage across the region.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple complex client relationships, and collaborate effectively with Business Development, investment teams, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other functional partners.
