Gamebreaking Studios is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to grow expertise in high-quality code while supporting a broad skill set, including optional Unreal Engine work, automation, and mentorship within a flexible role.
We value teaching others and maintaining a mentorship culture, with opportunities to influence backend services and game-facing tooling. This is a fully remote-friendly opportunity across suitable regions.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you'll continue to grow your expertise in writing high-quality code while learning and using whatever breadth of skills are needed to make a game awesome for players. In addition to your core backend skills you will have the opportunity to work in adjacent areas of the craft, that may occasionally include adding functionality in Unreal Engine, automating infrastructure, or something else entirely. We are prepared to craft the role around the right person, whether you’ve been programming for 5 years or for 20. Teaching others first and maintaining a mentorship culture are key ingredients to our success.
Gamebreaking Studios is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity, and are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for our team.
We do not use AI to screen our candidates, and we encourage you not to use AI as part of your application or cover letter so your personality can shine!
For other Latin American countries, pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

This position is open to candidates living and working throughout Latin America. Applicants must be fluent in English, willing to work according to US time zones (must be available 8am - 3pm Pacific Time), and have a strong, stable internet connection conducive to remote work and video calls. Outside the US, we work with an Employer of Record (deel.com) to hire full-time employees. This works very similar to how employees would work for a company based in their home country. Note that work authorization in the country you will work from is still required.
